Sutton Ecology Centre
The Ecology Centre must be my favourite place in the area. Its a green space that has been turned into a haven for wildlife but which also exists to educate people about not only our natural history but about how to live more ecologically.
In a built up suburban sprawl on the edge of London, the grounds are an amazing place to get lost in and experience a bit of the countryside.
Its also somewhere that is now under threat as Sutton Council believes it can make a few quid by selling off the rather grand house that sits in the heart of it along with some of the Ecology grounds.
