I've always had an interest in social issues and this encompasses themes such as politics, culture and identity.
My other areas of interest are the natural world and spirituality and this has recently led me to become more interested in "Deep Ecology".
As a result the shots I take are rarely influenced by other artists but the likes of George Monbiot - activists who not only question the way things are but more importantly who offer us hope by suggesting new ways of living that might improve our quality of life and the impact we have on a planet which is on the verge of ecological collapse.
